TIDY THAMES II
Tidy Thames II is a small dumb barge for hire on the Thames and connected docks and waterways in London. She has a lined hold suitable for accepting aggregate and waste for grabbing out. Her main use is as a glass cullet store on the Thames. The waste glass is collected for recycling and stored in her hold until full where upon she is towed to be emptied and the glass is for reprocessing.
Her smaller size makes her ideal for work up the narrower waterways such as the Lee Navigation and in the docks where she is more manuverable than a traditional Thames Lighter. She is available for hire as a prop, action boat for filming or for commercial use.
As this vessel has no power source it will need to be mobilised and demobilised using one of our workboats, a tug or Tidy Thames I. This is treated as a seperate cost. Also depending on your intended usage of the vessel you may require safety cover and additional support vessels which we can provide.
