Livett's Launches - Signalling Excellence on the Thames

New in 2008 these large bespoke 11m Ribcraft speed boats have been purposely designed for operating on the River Thames in London. The boats both have specially commissioned entry steps built into the bows to allow safe and easy access and there is comfortable cushioned seating for up to 12 passengers.

Equipped with 2 X Yamaha 245hp Diesel In-Board engines these Thames RIBs are capable of exhilarating high speeds of 45 knots (where it is safe to do so).

Available to charter by the hour from £325 these boats are not only great fun but really good value.

The boats have fantastic stereo and PA systems. You can book in advance to have your favourite music played as you blast down the River Thames, or choose one of the themed tours such as the James Bond Thames RIB Blast"!

Each boat is also equipped with a state of the art camera system which videos your Thames RIB trip. You can then purchase this video on a USB wand at the end of your trip*. The video has a short 3 minute generic intro on the boats and the River and then 10-12minutes of footage of your Thames RIB Blast so you can re-live the excitement. (Note: This facility is currently not available - Oct 08)

The guides also take photos which are available to purchase at the end of your RIB charter*.

*To purchase the video or photos at the end of your trip you will need to disembark at Embankment Pier. If you do not choose this pier for disembarkation you can still get your video and photos, but they will be sent to you after the charter.

You are provided with wet weather gear bottoms and tops. Please note the speed boat is open and although you are very unlikely to get wet from spray the British weather is more difficult to control!

Note: Prices exclude pier tolls and are based on a Central London charter. Boat charter rates are zero rated for VAT. Please note speeds are restricted in certain areas for safety and wash reasons.
