LIMA LIMA I

New to the fleet in November 2008 the 8m Thames speed boat has been named Lima Lima I and is almost identical to her sister vessel our Lima Lima II. Both speed boats were built by Halmatic and are strong stable and powerful Thames workboats. The Lima Lima I has an economical 150hp Volvo diesel inboard coupled to an outdrive with twin counter rotating props giving fast and smooth acceleration. She is capable of a rapid 30 knots and forms an ideal platform for filming duties, as a Thames safety boat or survey boat and for a range of other high-speed applications.

Currently she is being used in the filming of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes

All our Captains are experienced, knowledgeable fully licensed BML Thames Watermen with first aid certification.
