The M.V. Edwardian is the epitome of classic elegance and style from that famous bygone era. Built in 1985 by Sir Richard Branson, and annually refitted to our exacting standards simply no expense has been spared in her interior design and furnishings.

Her most unique and enjoyable feature must be her vast open upper deck allowing all guests the opportunity to comfortably enjoy the finest of London's weather - a rare facility on any boat. If the weather is not so favourable she has ample internal space for guests to mingle whilst soaking up the atmosphere of one of the most elegant moving lounges in London.
She is the perfect venue for christmas parties, silver service dinners, meetings, presentations, conferences, buffets and transfers.
We suggest a champagne canape reception followed by silver service dinner and entertainment from a live jazz trio. All whilst quietly gliding past the most famous sites of London illuminated in all their glory.

On the evening of 13th September the weather forcast was for strong winds and rain. However as 50 of my guests assembled at Putney Pier the sky cleared ready for what was to be a most fantastic trip to Greenwhich and back with a stunning sunset and moonrise. The Edwardian was the ideal vessel for us as we wanted to be able to view the shoreline from outside and of course when dusk fell we were able to continue partying below deck. The crew were efficient and helpful while our barman and helpers were perfect in every way. One great advantage for us (living is SW London) was that we could start and end at the Livett's Launches Putney Pier. We will definately be in touch when another significant Biorthday arises.

We hired the Edwardian for a staff team day out and it worked extremely well. Our group of 38 were able to use the upper deck for most of the day as the weather was fantastic. We sailed downriver to the O2 where the group disembarked for a number of activities. On reboarding the boat we served a bbq lunch and enjoyed the sights on the river. The crew were excellent, helpful, friendly and very professional. Thank you!

I hired the Edwardian for a corporate evening meal for a total of 53 people. We fit into the boat well, it was not cramped at all. The appearance of the lower deck which is where we had our meal was wonderful. Very professional and elegant. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They went completely out of their way for the attendees of the dinner and provided excellent service throughout. The food was also wondeful, fabulously cooked. The dinner on the boat was a great sucess. It was a bit of a gamble with the weather (as it was in May and we had reception drinks on the upper deck) but thankfully it paid off. I think it was a bit different to the usual corporate dinner and the guests definately enjoyed the originality of travelling up and down The Thames. I would highly recommend to anyone searching to cater for a similar event.

We took the Edwardian for a 3 hour lunch cruise, the day after our wedding in September. The boat is perfect for all weather, as has a lounge inside, but also a large deck if the sun is shining (and it was!). Kirsty was a fantastic contact in the run up to and we had great staff on the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and our guests had a fantastic time. The captain gave us a guided tour of the sights along the river banks and Tower Bridge opened just for us.... It was the most perfect end to our wedding. I would definitely like to go on the Edwardian again.

I was asked to arrange an 18 birthday party with very little notice. With the help of Katherine and Livett's it was possible. The birthday girl said "It was amazing, everyone says best party they've ever been to, thank you sooo much"! Says it all really. Many thanks for your help.

The whole event was enjoyed immensely by everyone. The crew were very helpful and unobtrusive, and the food and beverages were managed particularly well by Matias. I would not hesitate to recommend Livetts to anyone

My company used the MV Edwardian in November 2007. The purpose was to show a snall number of clients our river operations. We had a very specific itinerary for the day and the captain and crew followed this without any problems. Our day was very successful. The staff of the Edwardian could not have been more helpful, the vessel itself was in excellent condition, and the catering was exceptionally good. In fact I could not find fault with anything - even the weather was kind to us! In addition, the booking procedure was painless with very helpful staff at their Thames Base. I would unreservedly recommend Livett\'s to anyone looking for a quality vessel on which to entertain their guests.
