TIDY THAMES III
Tidy Thames III is a traditional Thames lighter, with a large hold suitable for holding three ISO 20 TEU containers. She can be chartered on the Thames and connected docks and waterways in London for commercial or filming use.
Featured in the film Charlie, she was used as a platform to create a sequence where a small speed boat was crashed into her side causing huge explosions triggered by the SFX department. She was also used as a backdrop during the filming of Harry Potter 5 last year.
As this vessel has no power source it will need to be mobilised and demobilised using one of our workboats, a tug or Tidy Thames I. This is treated as a seperate cost. Also depending on your intended usage of the vessel you may require safety cover and additional support vessels which we can provide.
