About Us
Livett's Launches is operated from Commander's Cabins aboard the historic warship the HMS Belfast which is permanently moored on the River Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge.
The company was established in 1983 by Chris and his wife Belinda Livett. The Livett family have worked and owned companies on the river since 1710. Chris was the youngest Master of the "Company of Watermen & Lightermen" and he is a Watermen to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Excellence has always been the aim, and over the years the company has branched into more fields and now offers a wide selection of services including:
- Luxury Thames Boats for Private Charter, scheduled Disco Cruises, Dinner Cruises and London Party Boats for hire.
- Services to the TV Film Production Industry - we are proud to be a member of the "London Filming Partnership" and have coordinated major stunt sequences in films such as James Bond and Harry Potter.
- Marine Services including contracted safety cover for building of the 'Blade of Light' Millennium Bridge, Painting of the Queen Mary and HMS Belfast as well as a variety of other sites.
Due to our reputation we have worked on the Thames' most navigationally technical and operationally complicated jobs including:
- Passage planning and execution for the transportation of Concorde from Isleworth to the estuary
- Guidance with the passage of some of the Worlds most expensive and extravagent Super Yachts
