Livett’s Launches helped bring the brand new Cruise Ship to Greenwich on the River Thames in London for her naming ceremony this week. The Seabourn Sojourn is a 32,000 ton, 198 metre cruise ship which accommodates 450 guests.
As the contractor appointed to manage London’s visiting ships Livetts provided marine logistics and mooring services to the vessel.
The ceremony was a great success and the first in London for many years. There was a spectacular fireworks display with the backdrop of Canary Wharf and the City. Chris Livett’s private party boat clients also enjoyed the show! Knowing of the fireworks display the Captains had ensured they were in the prime spot for the guests to watch the ceremony as part of their Thames cruise.
The spectacular cruise liner left London heading for Northern Europe and then off across the Atlantic to the Caribbean!
