The film is based on the international bestselling novel by Cornelia Funke.
Chris Livett was involved in marine coordination, providing marine film services and safety boats for the filming of a sequence in the film surrounding a lake at Hever Castle just South of London. Chris provided a camera pontoon, support boats and safety cover for the filming sequence.
