The Pool of London hosts London’s first festival of light: a seven night celebration of the relationship between light and architecture consisting of temporary lighting installations and a series of light-related events. Visit the Pool of London to view some of London’s major landmarks lit up in theatrical splendour including The Tower of London, HMS Belfast and London Bridge. The festival also includes special events such as an illuminated bike ride (open to all) and sustainable street lights powered by donkey dung! Switched On London aims to get visitors thinking about the city nightscape and to promote the responsible use of light for urban improvement.
