07.09.05 - Chris Livett helps UKSA bring the Gipsy Moth IV to London

Chris Livett helped with the organisation of bringing the recently restored legend Gipsy Moth IV to London. Livett's Launches acted as a general agent linking the team at UKSA with the multitude of contacts required to make the busy visit a sucess.

Francis Chichester took Gipsy Moth IV around the world in 1966 changing the face of sailing forever. He became a hero and Gipsy Moth IV a legend. The campaign to restore her began in 2003 and the results are simply stunning.

On her trip to London the Gipsy Moth IV visited Greenwich Pier, West India Docks and the HMS Belfast amongst a number of other sites during her visit.

Ellen MacArthur visited the famous yacht while she was moored at Greenwich. Livett's provided Ellen's water tranport between the Gipsy Moth IV at Greenwich and Battersea Heliport utilising our high speed RIB Lima Lima II
